Mr Wools-New Zealand raw wool trader
Whilst visiting my brother in New Zealand in December he had some massive bags of wool from his small flock of sheep to sell. An appointment with Mr Wools was made and we delivered by pick up his sheared wool. It was explained to us how different breeds of sheep produce a different quality of wool depending upon how harsh a life they lead at different altitude and conditions, as well as different levels of lanolin qualities-the oily, waxy coat that the animal produces to protect the coat. The raw wool was graded accordingly and a price per kg paid. Then it is compressed into these cubic packs ready to be taken away to our friends out in China to be made into all manner of products from carpets to felt tipped colouring pens.
